Steve joined Lynch & Lynch in 1982 after beginning his career some years earlier by working in the insurance industry. He is a 1981 Magna Cum Laude graduate of New England School of Law, and a 1977 graduate of Stonehill College. Attorney Woodworth’s areas of practice are broad and range from small business litigation, to legal consulting, to estate planning. Additionally, because of Attorney Woodworth’s background in the insurance industry, he has long specialized in matters relating to the interpretation and litigation of insurance contracts. He also heads up one of the most active appeals practices in the area. Licensed to practice in all courts of Massachusetts as well as the United States Supreme Court, United States Circuit Court of Appeals and Federal District Court, Attorney Woodworth also frequently represents municipalities in a wide variety of litigation matters. He has been responsible for significant “new law” through his representation of individuals, corporations, and insurance companies in the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Attorney Woodworth is frequently retained by other attorneys to consult on matters involving contract interpretation and appeals. He is a frequent lecturer for the insurance industry and a variety of continuing legal education entities, and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association. Attorney Woodworth is active in his home community in a variety of civil and youth sports organizations.
