Lawyer Referrals |
Wouldn’t
it be nice to have the benefit of experience, time, and extra staff? With
our long and successful history as both a general practice and litigation
firm, we are well positioned to consult with, and accept referrals from,
other attorneys. There are a wide variety of areas where we can help:
TRIALS
You
have the biggest case of your career. You certainly have the courtroom
skills to manage it, but simply don’t have the personnel in your office
to support such a case. With over 30 lawyers and a broad network of trial
experts, Lynch & Lynch can assist you with trials—from acting as
“behind the scenes” consultants, to actually trying the case for you.
APPEALS
You have tried so many District Court and Superior Court cases that you long
ago lost count of them. You’ve just won the case of your career and the
other side has appealed. The problem is, you’ve never set foot in the
Appeals Court. The complexities of appellate practice can be daunting to
any attorney not appearing in the Appeals court or the SJC on a regular
basis. Fortunately, Lynch & Lynch’s attorneys are frequently in
these courts. We have the infrastructure in place to research, prepare,
and print appeals briefs, and the knowledge to understand what the
justices of the Appeals Court and the SJC want to hear on oral argument.
CONSULTATION
Sometimes
there just aren’t enough hours in a day to learn everything you need to
know regarding a matter you are handling. Insurance law, appellate
procedure, and municipal tort law are just a few of the areas that might
pose complex legal questions for the sole practitioner or small law
office. While Lynch & Lynch is generally known as a litigation firm,
the wide variety of topics we have litigated has exposed us to many areas
of the law in which we have developed expertise. We are available at a
reasonable hourly rate to consult with you on black letter law, litigation
strategy, or a variety of other topics where you could use a hand.
PROFESSIONAL
LIABILITY
You’ve
received a letter you hoped you would never see in your career—you’re
being sued. Or worse, the Board of Bar Overseers wants to meet with you.
We can help. Our professional liability department represents attorneys
and other professionals in both civil litigation and in matters before
administrative disciplinary agencies. Competence, sensitivity, and
confidentiality are the watchwords of our professional liability practice.
ADR
You
and opposing counsel have just agreed to resolve a dispute through
arbitration or mediation rather than litigation. You need an arbitrator or
mediator you can trust. Many of our senior attorneys have significant
experience as court appointed conciliators, mediators, or arbitrators. We
have ADR experience in personal injury, property damage, commercial
matters, and a variety of other disputes, and are available, frequently,
at a significantly lower cost than typical “mediation companies” to
help you resolve your disputes.
A
competent, sensitive, confidential helping hand when you need it— lawyer
to lawyer.
