Daniel M. Newman
Dan Newman is an associate whose practice involves insurance defense, subrogation, products liability, premises liability, and commercial general liability. Attorney Newman has extensive experience representing owners, tenants, general contractors, and subcontractors in connection with disputes arising from the repair and construction of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties, including claims for construction defects, defective design, and breach of warranty. He handles civil actions in the Massachusetts Federal and State courts throughout all phases of litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Newman worked as an associate at Kantrovitz & Kantrovitz representing plaintiffs in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, and products liability. He also represented employees in claims for workers’ compensation benefits before the Department of Industrial Accidents.
Attorney Newman received his law degree from Boston University School of Law. During law school, Attorney Newman practiced as a student attorney at Greater Boston Legal Services representing employees in matters involving wage and hour violations and wrongful discrimination, as well as indigent tenants in housing disputes. He also served as the Article Editor for the Journal of Science & Technology Law.
