Robert G. Hazelton
Robert G. Hazelton is an associate who represents individuals and businesses in a variety of litigation matters. His practice focuses on insurance defense and subrogation matters involving automobile and homeowner’s insurance claims.
Robert comes to Lynch & Lynch after working for more than a decade at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, first in the Audit Division and then the Problem Resolution Office under the Taxpayer Advocate. There, he managed Brownfields Credit audits under Chapter 21E, along with Film Credit audits, and personal income tax audits. He also assisted elected officials with constituent inquiries and individual taxpayers with problems they experienced when dealing with the Department of Revenue. Robert received multiple Performance Recognition Awards during his career with the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
Robert is a graduate of the University of Delaware where he was Racing Captain of the Sailing Club while earning a double major and a minor. He received his J.D. from the evening division of New England Law Boston where he was also awarded the prestigious Sandra Day O’Connor merit-based scholarship.
